The title says it all. I’m no pro, but really have fallen for the dry floral whites, especially on a hot day. This one was fresh with hints of white peach.

sylvaner is such an underdog grape, more people should be drinking it. the dry floral thing you’re describing is exactly why I fell for it too, it’s got this mineral edge that riesling sometimes lacks. alsace in general flies under the radar compared to the bigger french regions but the quality to price ratio is wild if you know where to look. that label art is adorable btw, the little sheep doodle is doing a lot of heavy lifting
