  1. For details on the Port Orleans dining items shown, ingredients, prices paid, or chapter contents, please check the video description.

  2. I loved the meatball bowl when I had it in December. It was my only time trying it. My bowl also looked so much better than what you were served here.

  3. I’m loving The Smiths x Tangled crossover t-shirt, Bear! And even as a non-vegan, that cheeseburger had me salivating 😍 Will def give it a try!

  4. Your face said "You let me down"! Let me slightly disagree with the concept that honey mustard is not good for you. It's better for you than mayo, same with salad dressing. Way healthier than Ketchup (sigh). How cool would it be if they actually had a gyro roaster? I totally agree about the crisp on the artichoke heart cakes. Ahhh Port Orleans…..

  5. It's great getting a perspective on both resorts in one video instead of just focusing on one. For anyone staying more than a couple of days at Port Orleans, it really helps open up more dining options and gives a better idea of what's available at both French Quarter and Riverside.

I completely understand how Bear feels when the description doesn't match what arrives at the table. On Disney Cruise Line, I was once offered a flan, and what showed up was something closer to what we call tembleque in Puerto Rico… except it wasn't really that either. 😄

I also used to love the food options at French Quarter before the pandemic. It feels like the menu has become much more limited since then.

And "Cold Impossible"? I haven't seen that one yet.

Another great review. I always appreciate the details you both notice.

  6. Thanks — one of my favorite areas at WDW. For salad dressing you can dip your fork in the dressing then gather up a fork full of salad – the dressing covers the fork tines and is the last thing to hit your tongue so it's almost as good as a properly dressed salad.

  7. Any chance you'll be reviewing the new Impossible smash burger at Richter's over at Universal? Oh- just checked: it doesn't look vegan. Bummer

  8. I have never stayed in a moderate resort…but if I did it could be the French Quarter. The quality of the food looks ok and the theming is interesting…especially Scat Cat.
