Really nice comfort food dinner. The ratatouille carried hard and the dauphinoise potatoes were super rich and creamy. French food definitely feels more focused on indulgent buttery flavours rather than spices or seasoning. Everything tasted good but lacked that flavour punch compared to other countries.
