I’m on a mission to find the BEST fish and chips in London! But tell that to a Londoner, and you’ll spark the fiercest battle in the UK. Why? Because “the best” means something different to everyone.

Some want that nostalgic, old-school crunch cooked in beef fat. Others want it served with a pint in a classic British pub, and sometimes, you want pure luxury. You can’t crown just one winner—so my friend James and I are breaking it down into 4 categories to finally settle the debate of where to eat the best fish and chips in London!

    What's British/English food, really? Outside of Fish and Chips? Genuine question. Couple of other things were modified slightly from other cultures, so I'm not sure they are really "British".

    £26 for average fish and chips?? You are going to the WRONG places!!! That said, Crenucopia is worth visting though if you're rich/wealthy as that's genuinely different to traditional fish and chips. Not for average normal people though.

    Sorry but that one where the fish is filled with lobster etc .. 🤢🤮 no it’s not taking it to the next level, it just spoiling it – Mark , no offence but if someone gave you a plate of cow dung – you’d have something good to say about it “ ohh so earthy and the aroma of poo”

    You would be better heading to Belfast, Northern Ireland for a good fish and chips shop, London prices are a tourist trap ridiculously expensive for what you get.

    I went over to London in January of this year specifically to try burgers and fish and chips. The George’s fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had in my life.
