I’m on a mission to find the BEST fish and chips in London! But tell that to a Londoner, and you’ll spark the fiercest battle in the UK. Why? Because “the best” means something different to everyone.

Some want that nostalgic, old-school crunch cooked in beef fat. Others want it served with a pint in a classic British pub, and sometimes, you want pure luxury. You can’t crown just one winner—so my friend James and I are breaking it down into 4 categories to finally settle the debate of where to eat the best fish and chips in London!

From historic chippies to Dover Sole at Corenucopia by Clare Smyth, this is the ultimate fast-paced London food tour. Hit subscribe if you love British food!

  1. What's British/English food, really? Outside of Fish and Chips? Genuine question. Couple of other things were modified slightly from other cultures, so I'm not sure they are really "British".

  2. £26 for average fish and chips?? You are going to the WRONG places!!! That said, Crenucopia is worth visting though if you're rich/wealthy as that's genuinely different to traditional fish and chips. Not for average normal people though.

  3. I don’t know how you hand picked these shops but there are better shops than these that you missed out on and these are not the best

  4. Sorry but that one where the fish is filled with lobster etc .. 🤢🤮 no it’s not taking it to the next level, it just spoiling it – Mark , no offence but if someone gave you a plate of cow dung – you’d have something good to say about it “ ohh so earthy and the aroma of poo”

  5. "Savaloys not really a thing up north"?????? Ye Gods man. Look up the "traditional" sandwich of Sunderland. Knowledgeable my ar$e, ……… 🙂

  6. You would be better heading to Belfast, Northern Ireland for a good fish and chips shop, London prices are a tourist trap ridiculously expensive for what you get.

  7. Welcome to the UK again Mark!✨️🙏✨️
This is a fish and chip review that any Londoner would be proud of!👍💯👍

  8. I went over to London in January of this year specifically to try burgers and fish and chips. The George’s fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had in my life.

  9. As an American, it’s amazing how familiar the UK is to our culture. The language and way of life is similar in many respects.

  10. Mark please go to the balkan Region especially bosnia herzegovina. Amazing amazing food its like the turkish sister cuisine

  11. This video is incredibly bold, and it’s surprising that you feel qualified to declare the best fish and chips in the UK.

  12. Real mushy peas are made by soaking dried marrowfat overnight before cooking, not blending up garden peas
