This is the second of two short extracts taken from my video tasting of Clos Cantenac, a Saint Emilion Grand Cru, and sister wine to Pomerol estate Chateau Seraphine, where the video was filmed. I wanted to look at a pure Merlot wine produced on Gravel and Clay soils, showing the deeper, darker fruit side of the variety.
