Looking for suggestions on how to install curtains in my house. As you can see, the windows are not centered from the end of the soffit to the wall on the right. My plan is to install cabinets and a bar area under the soffit area.
Taking all of this into consideration how should I install my curtain track? From the soffit to the wall? Or from centered on the window?
The first option means when I open the curtains, they wouldn’t be centered (planning for 2 panels per window). The second option means there would be a small area on the left that wouldn’t be covered by the curtains

I think it would be fine to install the rod above the window, with 2 panels for each window.
