Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing my Amma’s secret recipe for making the ULTIMATE French Fries (Crispy Potato Sticks) at home. If your homemade french fries always turn soggy, you must try this unique method!
The secret trick is to dry the potato pieces completely on a cloth for an hour and coat them with our special spice flour mix just before dropping them into hot oil. This prevents the potatoes from releasing water, ensuring they stay super crispy and delicious every single time!

Ingredients Used:
Raw Potatoes (Bangala Dhumpalu)
Gram Flour (Senagapindi) – 1 tbsp
Rice Flour (Varipindi) – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder (Dhaniyala Podi) – 1/2 tbsp
Black Pepper Powder (Miriyala Podi) – 1/4 tbsp
Cumin Powder (Jeelakarra Podi) – 1/2 tbsp
Red Chili Powder (Karam) – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
