  1. Ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

On the nose blueberries, black currants, light cedar, chocolates, espresso, peppercorn, herbs, light forest floor, earth and tobacco leaf.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs, mediterranean spices, dark coffee, peppercorn, dark chocolates and light forest floor.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This 20 year old Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Stags Leap District is absolutely fantastic.

Totally resolved now, and drinking beautifully, with enough acidity to balance the tannins. Tannins show up after 45 minutes in the glass.

This flagship wine from this winery is showing great complexity with a soft mouthfeel. Feels like an aged Left Bank Bordeaux.

    Wine Enthusiasts 93 points.

Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food. Drank from a Magnum.

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.

    13.5% alcohol by volume.

    94 points.

    $100 (750ml).
