I’m new to European wine. Tried my first Albarino this weekend. I’m now obsessed. It’s my new favorite white wine type. The bottle was O Filla da Condesa from Rias Baixas. Loved the mineral and saline vibes. $12 from total wine. What are your favorite Albarinos?

dude you picked great starter bottle for albarino journey. that mineral thing you mentioned is what hooked me too when i first tried spanish whites couple years back. i usually go for bottles from same region but different producers – rias baixas has so many good options in that price range. my local wine shop guy always steers me toward ones with more citrus notes since i work outside all day and need something refreshing after being on the sun. you should try finding bottles from different years of same producer to see how they change – some develop more complexity while others stay crisp and bright
Favorite has been “Envidia Cochina” by Eladio Piniero, but I haven’t tried recent vintages. Tough to get in the states sometimes.
