My hand painted tiles are up (but need grouting which I’ll do this week). Each one a favourite creature that frequents the River Nadder down the lane.
These are a bit of a cheat really. So if you fancy a go yourself here’s what you need – I bought some off white ceramic zellige looking tiles from Tiles360 and then you need some ceramic paint. Pebeo Porcelaine 150 is perfect. Good range of colours but in the end I went for black! Then just paint, fine paintbrushes a must. If you are not a confident painter then practice on a spare tile or two. You have got this. I hand drew my designs first on paper to see what they might be like and I recommend that. After you have painted on a design, you simply bake them in your oven for 35 minutes
