British food is an absolute triumph. Fish and chips, shepherd's pie, full English breakfast, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, bangers and mash, cottage pie, Cornish pasty, sticky toffee pudding, scones with clotted cream and jam, bubble and squeak, ploughman's lunch, Lancashire hotpot, black pudding, Victoria sponge, trifle, toad in the hole, steak and kidney pie, Welsh rarebit, spotted dick, Bakewell tart, Eton mess, scotch egg, crumpets, bread and butter pudding, Cumberland sausage, jellied eels, parkin, Eccles cake, mince pie, pease pudding, laverbread, haggis, jam roly-poly, treacle tart, Chelsea bun, bara brith, apple crumble, clootie dumpling, cock-a-leekie soup, cranachan, dripping cake, haslet, hog's pudding, lardy cake, pan haggerty, potted shrimps, stottie cake, Welsh cakes, white pudding, Yorkshire curd tart
Now that is a serious statement coming from a top French chef. You see the best desserts imo come from France. Here’s something I found out, the main ingredient in most desserts is butter 😳 this is why Italy is not in the conversation because they use olive oil in most if not all of their food recipes 😉
I love a good crumble. So easy to make. In this video however he serves with a very French crème anglaise while normally you would just serve with heavy cream.

British desserts, cakes and biscuits are 🔥 but not mass produced versions
