I don’t know what happens after 40… but this is actually painful to watch 😭

Flat Champagne into a soda machine to “bring it back to life” is not a hack. It’s just… no.

Here’s the thing:

🥂 Bubbles are not just bubbles
In Champagne they’re created through a second fermentation in the bottle. That’s what gives you that fine, elegant mousse and texture. A soda machine just injects CO2. It’s aggressive, harsh, and feels completely disconnected from the wine.

🍞 The magic is already gone
Once it’s flat, the aromatics are gone too. All the brioche, citrus, that layered complexity… it doesn’t come back. You’re just adding fizz to something that already lost its soul.

⚖️ The texture gets ruined
Instead of soft, creamy bubbles you get big soda-like fizz. It drinks like sparkling water pretending to be Champagne.

💸 At that point just let it go
Use it for cooking, make a spritz, whatever. But this whole “reviving” situation is not it.
