  2. Crazy that in America you have to be scared to approach cops. In Finland at night all the drunk people come to socialise with the police cars.

  3. $1.5 "hour differential" si exploitation.
    When I did night shifts as a student in France, it was +25% salary for night shifts, an added +50% on saturdays and +100% on sundays.
    With regular shifts added, I made a +60% base salary monthly – circa 2005.
    Decent worker's laws are what can set a decent living condition for hard working conditions, not corporate freedom.

  4. Honestly not surprised about not accepting food from a stranger. Especially food cooked in their home. You cant trust anyone these days and you never know what is in their kitchens.

  7. It is because you are a stranger with a camera asking if you can cook something for them to eat. Since that is not a norm the typical answer would be NO.
