  1. Usually have this for Easter, at least when the kids were younger because it's a great way to use up the Easter eggs!

  2. I love this recipe especially the egg gravy on hard toast! I made it last night and just had it leftover. So good! Comfort food for sure. Thank you and I’m subscribed.💟

  3. Nice kitchen and cool recipe! Easy to do and seems like it would be easy to add little changes to make it more to your taste.

  4. My Dad would make eggs goldenrod. He’d hard boil the eggs, chopped up the whites and add that to the gravy then smash the yolks through a sieve and sprinkle that over the toast with the gravy on it. It was very pretty.

  5. From a kid of the depression and beyond: what you are cooking is dried beef gravy and toast – without the dried beef in the gravy. If you fry up some pork chops in the cast iron frying pan first, and then scrape the browns from the pan into your gravy, it’s just as good as if dried beef were in the gravy instead. With a bit different flavor.
Any way you do it, the nick name is SOS: Sh&t On a Shingle.

  6. OMG I'm drooling 🤤 Haven't had that in so long I had forgotten about this super yummy but easy meal.
Thank YOU so much for sharing this recipe.
    Awesome kitchen 🙂

  7. The best part of this video was when you cracked an egg and then wiped your hand on your pants. I've never seen a chef do that. I do the same thing. ❤

  8. OMG, good looking , home cooking , bare foot in the kitchen, now you need three little ones under your feet ……you’re a rarity 😁

  9. Your family must be AWESOME! Love that kitchen and that stove is incredible. Thanks for sharing!
