There is no better way to start the day than with a cup of coffee cultivated with true mastery. This is Gobbo Fabbro Coffee, grown at 1,500 meters above sea level in the mountains of Venezuela.
This batch features Colombia 27 Arabica beans, meticulously roasted to a medium-dark profile—exactly how I enjoy a bold, complex cup. From the mountain soil to the French press, every step is a tribute to quality and the epic scenery of Guayamure.

  1. The French press is the best way to make coffee, but you are breaking your legs if you aren't using whole bean and grinding with a burr grinder just before brewing. My first job was in a coffee shop in San Diego, in about 1990? It was before Starbucks. I've experimented with how to make the perfect cup. Fresh roasted beans, ground with a burr grinder, that you adjust to the perfect coarseness, and a french press, you can make a perfect cup. You won't get it right on the first try, but experimenting is maybe the beat part. I loved your Chuck Norris tribute. It's hard to believe you have flowering hydrangeas, ours are many months away. Beautiful.
