  1. I can’t believe that fella behind the counter is going to cook dressed like that !!! Shocking and unhygienic. Used to be a belting chippy that did for years …..

  2. You paid for that and the proprietor is hovering like one of those seagulls.
If it was my chippy, I would be turning out the best I could but the guy hasn't got a clue.
You are right about the oil.
Used eight times maximum and it's turning rancid.
    Seven minutes he said.
It should have been as long as the poundage you paid.
    Fifteen minutes at least.
I am sorry to say, you got refrieds from the day before yesterday.
It looked minging, he looked minging and I bet the pan of your toilet was dumping that.
It would take me seven minutes to knock up the batter.
I couldn't do it for that price.
The fish would be fresh, the potatoes peeled and chipped/scalloped same day, oil fresh and the pie oven baked.
I would make the curry from scratch.
    The mushy peas too.
The gravy would be made from proper homemade stock.
    I don't eat ultra-processed food.
    I make everything from scratch.
The pie filling and pastry too.
    Nothing fake leaves my kitchen.
Try keeping kids away from the sweet shop and fa(s)t food joints.
    I have cracked it.
    They refuse to eat it.
My two-year old granddaughter says "no thank you" it's hilarious when she knows what's real food and what's junk.
You're one brave fella if ask me.
Yet there 56 million just like you scoffing down this and the government, NHS, Diabetes UK, scientists, food industry, petrochemical industry and pharmaceutical companies are all in on it.
    And they're blaming the population.
It's not the population that are to blame.
    It's the media.
I was like that until 1st June 2024.
My health has improved and it's just as cheap to buy real food over what they're force-feeding you.
90% of the shops and supermarkets have nothing for me when I shop.
I buy food that is processed to make it safe and edible for the consumer.
Not something you would fill your car's fuel tank and engine up with.
    Ultra-processed food is carcinogenic.

  3. Its a shit hole , crap food very expensive .
Tell me what there is to like ,
There is no imigrant there so it should be the best city in uk according to nick Fuck face so y isnt it anybody???

  4. You should go to The Bridge Chippy in Bolton-le-sands, Morecambe. Fantastic chips that haven’t been surpassed for me

  5. If he changes his oil more regularly then the food won't be value for money for him !!
Best he sticks to curries 😂😂

  6. If the Chippy owner isn’t a local, I will not buy. P.S You know they’re bad, when you don’t get a Seagull trying to nick, ya snap.

  7. Medium chippy in Blackpool would be a fine thing.

Living in on the East Coast the worst over here would be a 5 star over there.

The Ketch used to be quality back in the day.

  8. I live in London and on average Fish & Chips is around £15 and it's no better than what you got there. In fact in many cases it's much worse. Fish & Chips don't seem anywhere near as good as what I remember growing up in the 60s & 70s.
