I love this huge couch but it doesn’t give us a lot of open space on our main floor which we need, especially since my 2 year old uses a walker and it sometimes gets in the way. Would it look stupid if we rotated the couch 90 degrees clockwise and moved tv over to wall with gallery wall instead of fireplace? The only thing is that the shorter end of couch would run a little parallel to the built-ins. Would this look odd?? I tried asking AI to rotate it for me so I could see, but he’s incompetent. Ignore the mess please. I have 3 under 4 and my house is a shit show lol

If you plan of your house, please DM me, so that I can rearrange your furniture layout

I think you could get rid of the chairs and put a narrow storage bench there instead unless you use the chairs a lot? I also think you could probably do a smaller round coffee table (corners with small kids, am I right?) to save a little room. I really cannot picture the rotation helping. It seems like it would just look really off and likely bother you.

Is there any way to make the long end of the sofa under the window and have the shorter end separating your living from kitchen (I assume)? Not sure if the measurements or the way the couch is setup would accommodate that but that could help.

TV is way too high in its current location.

Is it that difficult to try to move the couch and see how it fits? Don’t have to move the rest but sometimes drawings and mockups really can’t tell you how it feels. Grab your spouse and a beer after the kids go down and have a furniture re-arranging party!

Put the tv on the wall on the right and rotate the couch
Edit: don’t even need to move the couch
