Your house is absolutely lovely Nathaniel. Nicely done! I think the previous owners had their bedroom downstairs because that's where the bathroom and shower is. I hope you have a plan for a bathroom upstairs at some point. Perhaps using your storage room after you build something well insulated on the property somewhere for storage. Your current storage room would make a wonderful bathroom with a connected wardrobe and dressing area. Trust me, it comes with age needing a bathroom near your bedroom. I'm 78 btw. So happy to know you are enjoying your dream home. And it is a dream. I send you my best from Liguria Italy.

I don’t know if you mentioned it before in an earlier video, but did you sell your apartment in Paris? Also, I saw your mom briefly in the kitchen tile shot. How close is your house to your parents’ place? It must be great to have them in France. Beautiful and charming home. Really love the artist studio in your backyard.
I love it! You’ve done a great job! The kitchen is so cozy and the living room or grand salon is gorgeous. Just 2 thoughts. First, why not store your stuff in the laundry room or in the room next to the laundry room? I think a 2nd bath would be perfect in your spacious upstairs. Oh! One more thought, try out the greenhouse. It’s fun to start seeds in there. ❤❤❤
