We are painting our kitchen (east-facing) and living room (north- and west-facing) and settled on SW Contented after testing with a swatch on white canvas.
Our painter finished the kitchen today, and it's more pastel than we expected and also seems to pull blue in the daylight. This photo was taken close to sunset so it's not quite as bad, but in mid-afternoon it felt like a baby's nursery.
We were aiming for more a sage or gray green and are considering re-painting with a different color. Any suggestions? Perhaps a darker color with a warmer tone?
Our cabinets and countertops are being repaired, and we're replacing the counter tops with the color in the second photo. The current sink is a temporary sink while our cabinets are out. Third photo is our living room.
