Searching for the best hotel in Shibuya? You’ve found it.
Located in “Oku-Shibu” (Deep Shibuya), away from the noise, I stayed at this $69 (approx. ¥11,000) hidden gem—an unbelievable price for today’s Shibuya.

✨ Why this hotel is a “Best Buy”:
Location: Walking distance from Shibuya Station and right next to the lush Yoyogi Park.
History: Over 50 years of heritage with ties to the former US military complex, “Washington Heights.”
The Reality: A funny look at the “low-ceiling shower” struggle for someone over 180cm (5’11”) like me (lol).
Experience: Exploring the deep nightlife of Hyakkendana and tasting unique ramen developed by a French chef.
Experience the “Dynamic” and “Static” faces of Tokyo in this sophisticated Shibuya stay. Watch until the end for the full experience!

  3. What a pity the bed is a bit soft! Tabist may be unfriendly for tall guys, for shorter guys, this is a great hotel location! Shibuya is a cool place, can be hang around for days! Not even known Yoyogi Park nearby provides different vibe.
Room is a bit old, but doesn't matter, I would rather safe more money on shopping in Shibuya!

  4. 日本の他の宿泊施設と比べると、部屋はかなり広々としています。ただ、部屋が少し暗いのが難点です。とはいえ、この価格、立地、そして特に桜の季節であることを考えると、妥当な価格だと思います。

  5. Staying in Shibuya doesn’t have to break the bank! 💸
I was shocked to find this hidden gem for just $69—honestly an unbelievable price for this location. It’s tucked away in the trendy "Oku-Shibu" area, so you get a peaceful night's sleep while staying just a short walk from the Scramble Crossing.
If you're a tall traveler (like me at 180cm+), you might have a little "shower adventure" lol, but for the price and location, it’s a total win. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

  6. Japan is brilliant. We don't have anything like this in Canada. You can't even get a small old and dirty motel room at that price.

  7. Hello and thanks for an amazing video!! And wow, an hotel this cheap in the middle of busting Shibuya is quite a discovery and also a way to save some money without losing comfort!! Also can't help but smile a bit when I saw the Don Quijote shop with that penguin – is the mascot of the shop? Or it is unrelated to? – and the national japanese TV building of the NHK reminded me a bit the Spanish national TV building!! But going back to the usuals, the hotel room is quite pretty with the charm of the normal keys instead of the keycards and the essentials to the stay… but also a bit lifeless without so much decoration and only plain white walls!! And my fav thing here, that delicious food… and all that potato salad looked mega, but surely I prefer the Buta no Kuni and that sashimi selection…that looked drooling-licious, along with the always recommended bowl of ramen!! And the Shibuya crossing in night lights has different vibe than in sun light, but it's always a place to visit in any moment… and an onigi breakfast I have the understanding it's an usual Japanese breakfast too, is It?? And wow, Yoyogi Park is quite big if you can visit it in parts depending on the interest you have…but that's also great!! Love from Spain!!! 💙🇪🇦

  8. Indeed amazing value for the location. I however really dont like Shibuya (I cant really explain why I dont like it) and therefore I dont like those areas around it at all. Its strange because I love Shinjuku for the reasons I hate Shibuya 🙂.
