French Onion Cheeseburger
1 sweet onion sliced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Pinch of salt and black pepper
2 tablespoons dry vermouth
1 1/3 lb ground meat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
Brioche Buns
6-7 Cheddar cheese slices
Miracle Whip (don’t substitute! It brings it all together)

1. Slice and sauté onion in a drizzle of olive oil and butter. Season with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and thyme. Turn burner to low. Onions will soften and caramelize. Cook low and slow. Once they start to caramelize, deglaze the pan with the vermouth and continue to cook on low until onions are done.
2. Mix ground meat with mayonnaise and onion soup mix. Divide meat into 6-7 burgers. Grill or fry burgers. Top with cheddar cheese.
3. Build burger on a brioche bun with miracle whip and caramelized onions—Yum!!
