The resort offers 1,402 rooms, each with a private balcony or terrace and views of the gardens, pools, or ocean. Standard room features include: Air conditioning, Flat-screen TV, Minibar, Spacious bathrooms, Modern Caribbean-style design. Guests can also book Premium Level rooms, which offer extra perks such as private check-in, upgraded amenities, and 24-hour room service.

Barceló Bávaro Palace features four swimming pools spread across the property.

Because the property is very large, the Bavaro Express shuttle train runs through the resort every 20 minutes to help guests move around easily. The shuttle can also take guests to the nearby Barceló Bávaro Beach, the adults-only sister resort located right next door.
