  1. Chop suey is officially a Chinese inspired American dish. The name makes it sound Asian instead of calling it random veggies and meat stir-fried in a random sauce served over rice.

  2. Its crazy, we live in NE. and my mother always made chop suey wich was kinda like spaghetti and I couldn't stand it even loving spaghetti. But that chop suey you just made i could eat every day

  8. I heard a very well educated Chinese man once say [ to the effect ] that Chop Suey is just a Combining of a Lot of Ingredience.
    And I would guess that Chow Mein is a Specific Two or more ingredients and finished off with Whatever is Called for.
