We moved in just about 1 year ago. I’ve got some new furniture but ultimately I won’t buy a new couch yet while our cat is alive (if you know – you know). How can I improve the space dramatically to be more cohesive? No major renovations for the coming years.

I would get new curtains and accent pillows on the couch that match to start.
Biggest bang for buck: rug that actually fits the space and ties your colors together. Throw pillows and a chunky knit blanket can help a lot. Plants and lamps warm it up fast without spending crazy. You’ve got this!
