Recipe ⬇️ French onion soup for this cold winter! ❄️

Ingredients:
3-4 onions
3 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove
4 cups of beef broth
1 tablespoon thyme
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup cold water to dissolve the flour
1 cup red wine
Cheese to melt (gruyere, emmental, or even mozzarella should work)
Slices of bread like baguette

How to:
Thinly slice the onions, then in a pot (medium high heat) add the butter and onions.
Caramelize the onions until golden brown.
Add the garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes.
Add beef broth, thyme and salt and cook until it starts to boil.
In another bowl whisk the flour and water until it dissolves completely. Add it to the soup.
Pour a cup of the wine of your choice, you can use white or red wine. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
During this time you can slice a baguette (1 inch thick) top with slices of cheese and toast in the over until the cheese is brown and bubbly.
Serve the soup and place a slice of the bread on top. Enjoy!
