$70 for a 7-course French omakase ✨
I finally visited this hidden gem for an incredibly delicious and affordable omakase experience in town.
Each course comes with its own name, keeping us curious and excited about what’s coming next.
We started our journey with a complimentary Milk Curd Tempura, a sweet n crispy treat, followed by:
Surprise
🍗 Chicken, pho, yuzu broth
Light yet comforting, with a bright citrus lift from the yuzu.
Pure
🦪 Scallop, cauliflower, asparagus, bacon
A chemical-free giant scallop with natural sweetness, balanced by smoky bacon and a creamy cauliflower base.
Memory
🍤 Red prawn, “paper rose”, smoked bonito muoi
A Vietnamese–Japanese fusion featuring tempura red prawn with sakura ebi and unique sauces, accompanied by a crispy rice-paper flower that melts in your mouth.
Playful
🍝 Zucchini strings, black truffle, farm egg
Pasta topped with a wobbly poached egg, a gentle kick from Sichuan peppercorn sauce, and finished with black truffle slices.
Main
🐟 Nordic Black Halibut
Celeriac, haricot beans, roasted chipotle beurre blanc. Silky fish paired with super creamy sauce.
Or
🐖 Kurobuta Pork Chop (+$8 supplement)
Brined for 24 hours, served with parsnip, mustard greens, and Granny Smith jus. It’s wonderfully done!
Frozen
🍨 Hokkaido milk, nori, tomato, basil crunch
A savoury-leaning dessert with roasted nori, yellow tomato compote, and a thin biscuit made of basil, almond, and sesame. Everything is house-made, even the vanilla ice cream. I really love the mix of textures in every bite.
Sinful
🍫 Grandma’s most chocolatey brownie, crème toffee au miso
Deep, rich chocolate with a miso-based sauce and a touch of acidity from dehydrated strawberry to finish.
Just add $3.50 for free-flow mineral water or Summer Dream Tea, a refreshing, sugar-free and caffeine-free mixed berry tea that we loved.
Every course is thoughtfully curated and their menu changes every few months, @white_bird_scramble is definitely one to bookmark.
