This was fascinating! Not only is the apartment exquisitely appointed, but the host has a wonderful way of discussing his interests and his possessions. So easy to listen to! He is also personable and charming and soft-spoken. What a lovely reflection of personal character displayed in his home! If I were wealthy, he is someone I would love to work with as a client. I love France and Paris and appreciate that there is nothing superficial about his view of the marvelous City of Light!❤❤❤
Damn it. Killmonger was absolutely right. This fella strikes me as a nice guy but kindly return these ancient antiquities to their countries of origin and stop this shhhh. Consider acquiring skillfully executed replicas for pete's sake. The ethical concerns about the looting of cultural heritage pieces is quite real and worthy of examination.

Yet I can not agree with his stating, " it's a small apartment." Really?….
He is an excellent, fluently articulate guide and terribly charming. The camerawork didn’t do justice to his careful signposting of the details but we still get the overall impression of an elegant classical Rive Gauche apartment with a bit of Asian fusion. I’ve been to Paris 3 or 4 times recently to visit friends. The impression you get from political coverage is it’s falling apart, it’s full of thieves and itinerants, there’s an integration problem etc. Yet when you are there it’s the same old Paris, as stunning as always, it’s affordable, the traffic is more merciful than when I was a child, speeding cyclists abound, yes, but it’s not overrun with tourists, it’s still gorgeous very French Paris. I love it.
It's a home that is tasteful and carefully curated and not loud…
I can only imagine that having a conversation with this gentlemen in his beautiful apartment would be pure joy.
