  1. I like the simplicity of this recipe, but what is the point of cutting the fat off the bacon , you say to reduce calories , and then cook it in butter ? Leave the fat on, enjoy the taste because as we all know, ( everybody join in ) fat means flavour!

  2. Hi Scott, this looks delicious!!! I have someone with a mushroom allergy in the household, could I substitute carrots for mushrooms, or just increase the shallots?
