Chef Mikuni must be the most famous French food chef in Japan. Michelin however, does not like him for whatever reason and you cannot find chef Mikuni in Michelin’s books at all. This is one of the biggest mysteries of Japanese restaurant industry. But, if you visit any of his restaurants, you will realize just how much Michelin got it wrong… seriously wrong. He opened a new restaurant Dining 33 in the Azabudai Hills. The Azabudai Hills was built in 2023 and is the tallest building in Japan. It is near the Tokyo Tower. The restaurant is serving a lot of very good, Japanized French dishes. The restaurant even uses wasabi for French dishes.
