A wall of local Ya’axkin Butterfly Farm beauties are above the handwoven rattan, queen-sized sofa-bed and side chairs to provide relaxing comfort. Plenty of wall hooks for your wet items to dry and a tiled entryway to place your sandy items before entering the main home.
MASTER BEDROOM – The Mayan-themed bedroom includes a Queen Bed, an A/C unit, Lighted Ceiling Fan, Blackout Curtains for a good nights rest and privacy, glass French Doors for an ocean view, private Full Bathroom, Mirrored Armoire, Dresser, Laundry Hamper, Night Stands, Pack-and-Play behind the door and Security Safe to store your valuables.
SECOND BEDROOM – The Tropical Garifuna-themed bedroom with Garden and Jungle views includes a Queen Bed, an A/C unit, Lighted Ceiling Fan, Full Bathroom, Mirrored Armoire, Laundry Hamper, and Night Stands.
MAIN LIVE SPACE is accessed by Glass French Doors. The wooden Belizean beach-style furniture has thick custom-made cushions on the chairs and for the Futon bed. An HD TV, Internet for WiFi, Large Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker for music includes Karaoke mics, as well as Local Books about Belizean Nature & Culture.
KITCHEN with a Garden view is included in the open living area. Thick granite-topped counters (also in the bathrooms) provide a roomy, easy-to-get-around area. PRIVATE BEACH – There are very comfortable chaise lounges for you to enjoy relaxing on the sandy beach or move them under the home for shade. There is also a Jungle Lot next to the beach offering a view of the local wildlife including Agoutis, Iguanas, Coatimundis and many species of vibrant Belizean birds.
SWIMMING – You are responsible for your own safety when you decide to swim. There are concrete steps you may use with 2 solid handrails. This “Shallow Bay” allows you to begin your walk in ankle-deep water, while gradually moving into the depth of your comfort level. It is around 30 feet out where it is deep enough to swim. Enjoy the diving Pelicans, fishing Frigates, tropical fish and sometimes even sea grass grazing Manatees.
