I’ve been living in France for 11 years and with my French partner for almost 9 years now! Safe to say we’ve had our share of French/American culture shocks and culture conflicts on top of the every day, normal compromises in a couple! You’d think after so long, I would be 100% Frenchified, but alas, this is not the case! Some American habits and things, just seem to stick around no matter how long I’m a “foreigner in France.” Today’s video is 5 of the random American things that I can’t seem to shake, that really drive my Frenchie crazy. Are they stereotypical American culture things? Is my French husband being a bit too complicated? I’ll let you decide!
