Every year my best friends and I will select one good restaurant to celebrate our Christmas gift exchange, therefore this year we have decided to choose this French restaurant at DC Mall.
A contemporary European restaurant with an Asian twist. Beaming with art deco inspired gold fixtures throughout, this opulent eatery. With contemporary cuisine in mind, Soleil serves a mixture of modern French and Belgian, with an equally decked out cocktail bar that equally complements.

Soleil is headed by Owner and Executive Chef Evert Onderbeke, hailing from Ghent, Belgium. He began his culinary journey graduating from Belgium’s Ter Duinen in Koksijde. Being able to snap a photo with him is an honour.
Soleil has quite an interesting menu, with its selections perfect for fine dining or casual dining, depending on your choice of experience.
Since is Christmas we decided to choose the Christmas 3 course meal.
Starter
1. Soft bun to start
2. Seared Hokkaido scallops (one word awesome) 10/10
3. Pumpkin soup & Dukkah
Main course
1. Slow cooked turkey breast (my choice) 10/10
2. Wild caught rainbow trout (my friends choice)
Dessert
1. Christmas pudding
2. Pink Lady Apple pie
Both are yummy (10/10)
I chose my set comes with wine pairing. Wine was good and I’m loving it
Overall food are awesome.
I’ll be back again for other cuisine in the menu.
