We’re building a huge new terrace that will be used for outdoor dining and sunbathing. This week we have to use 21 tonnes of gravel to get a level base for our new pavers – madness!
Every penny we earn goes into restoring the house as sustainably as possible. So whether it be watching our videos, subscribing to our channel or even becoming a Patron (where you get BTS content and can ask us anything!) you have our BIGGEST thanks for your support 🙂

Sisyphus was the guy pushing rocks uphill… Left to right on the tiles would look better, IMHO.
In order to accommodate the *artistic, and the engineer aspect of what you both would enjoy to be accomplished, do ponder the tile laying in a fashion that neither of you have considered. So, how about several obtuse triangles, plus one obtuse angle at each end?
Struggling to watch your vlogs due to 20 minutes plus. For me, a shorter 10-15 min vlog with shorter "scenes" would be better since I watch 20 other French lifestyle/reno's. Noticed that you ask for comments on each vlog but rarely respond (but said how much you enjoy chatting back & forth but zero replies). So the viewers are just engaging amongst themselves with unanswered questions. Agreed with tree removal close to the house but loved & saddened with the beauties being chopped. Ratio of removal to 5 fruit trees planted is unbalanced. Great job on the fireplace removal. Excellent job on the dry stone wall. North Americans dont ever use Gambons? In their residential landscaping. Used for commercial structural applications only usually near waterways. Criticism isnt always negative – lets you know viewer still interested but areas for opportunity. See your views have decreased & really wish for your success. Enjoy your positive energy & day trips to surrounding towns. Your girls & pups are delightful but worrysome having the dogs close to moving machines. Dont risk it – you are responsible for their little lives. Plant more beautiful trees now. They take decades to grow.
why such a big area? almost big enough to play tennis…. 😉
