Not an expert decorator but I’d put appliances in the bottom along with pots/pans. Because the top cabinets are see through my OCD would only put nice glassware (plates and cups) in them; not mismatched cups, cheap looking cups , or paper plates. Spices would go on a hanging spice rack behind the pantry door.
