  1. Back in the day in America we used to always sit at the kitchen table, always prepared meals at home. Maybe takeout would be a pizza from a popular local Italian restaurant in our small town and that was like a special thing for us kids. Maybe a friday piece of haddock already prepared at a local seafood store. But yes, once upon a time we were just like you still are in France. Life was simple. Pretty much everyone was slim. We didn't each junk food. Candy at holidays. Don't remember exactly when processed foods and so much fast food came on the scene. And disease and sickness from it. 🙄 Early 80s?
