  1. French Toast (2 servings)
    (thick-cut brioche, about 3 cm / 1.2 inch thick)

    Custard Mixture
    * 2 eggs
    * 150 ml milk
    * 1 tbsp sugar
    * 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    * 1/4 tsp cinnamon
    * a tiny pinch of salt

    For Cooking
    * 1 tbsp butter

    Instructions
    1. Slice the brioche into 2 thick pieces, about 3 cm / 1.2 inch each.
    2. Whisk together all ingredients for the custard mixture.
    3. Dip each slice into the mixture:
    * about 10 seconds on the first side
    * about 10 seconds on the second side
    4. Let the bread rest for 20–30 seconds so it can absorb the custard.
    5. Cook over medium-low heat:
    * about 3–4 minutes on the first side
    * 2–3 minutes on the second side

    For Serving
    Top with:
    * maple syrup
    * fresh berries
    * micro pistachio dust
