**Help me choose between 2 sectionals for my open concept 1bed [pics]**

Just moved into a new 1bed/1bath open concept apartment. 800sq ft.The living room flows directly into the kitchen with no walls separating them, so defining the space without making it feel cramped is the main challenge.

I currently have a 120 by 120 sectional couch in my house im moving from. I will be getting rid of. I love having a large couch as I like to lounge on it. Lay with my dog on it. I dont host people often maybe 1x a month and never more than a few people. I typically hang out along or one on one with a woman im dating oe seeing and well spend time laying out or cuddling on the couch.

I'm torn between two sectionals and would love outside opinions before I commit.

**Option 1: Costco Henryden U-shaped sectional**

– 117" wide x 69" deep

– Warm greige fabric

– Comes with ottoman

– U-shape opens toward TV wall

**Option 2: Standard L-shaped sectional**

– 65" x 88.5"

– More modest footprint

– Easier to work around for traffic flow

I taped out the Henryden footprint on my floor and it seems to fit, but I want to make sure I'm not going too big for the space. Color palette is white/beige/greige/dark gray with warm oak accents and brushed gold hardware.

Which would you go with? Is the Henryden too much for a 1bed open concept or does it make the ⁸ feel more intentional and furnished?

Also I currently plan on flipping the setup and having the 77inch tv + tv stand on the shorter wall.
