  1. Kaya toast is the quintessential breakfast of Singapore and we have it with a cup of kopi/teh/milo 😊

  2. "Cafes" (kopitiams) used to use thicker bread (sometimes called Hainanese toast), but now more of them just use regular white bread

  3. The eggs could’ve cooked a tad longer but aside from that it looks pretty good 🤤 a side of hot kopi would perfectly pair this dish

  4. Italy, and the choice is huge.

Personally I think the most classic Italian sandwich is:

    -Prosciutto Cotto

    -Fresh mozzarella

    -"cuore ligure" tomato

    -calvé mayonnaise.

Either put into focaccia or (my personal favorite) fresh ciabatta bread.

  5. That’s f—king nasty. I can’t get down with the kaya toast, but the dipping in egg part is a no-no for me. We filipinos also use coconut jam but on toasted pan de sal bread which is way better than toasted white bread.

  6. If you’re making half boiled eggs again use chinese dark soy sauce instead! It’s much less salty than light soy sauce

  7. Your eggs are too raw, you can still see the transparent part.
Try pouring boiling water over room temperature eggs, COVER IT and wait for 6-8 minutes depending on size of eggs. Immediately remove eggs from water and enjoy wonderfully half boiled eggs.

  8. Toast is too thick… I really like those super thin ones from Ya Kun Kaya Toast… But I do like you adding that much butter… Wish Ya Kun would do that… 🤗

  9. Looks ok, but wrong bread. Best is yakun type, brown bread sliced thin and toasted over charcoal.
