UK to Spain road trip by car — our second overnight stop in France near Troyes at Logis Hôtel Domaine de la Forêt d’Orient, Restaurant, Spa & Golf.
In this travel vlog, we arrive at our hotel in France on the way to our Spain holiday. We start with a room tour, then explore the beautiful hotel grounds — and we did not expect to find two kangaroos and decorative real chickens, almost like a little mini zoo at the hotel.
In the evening, we have dinner at the hotel restaurant and try a local champagne tasting package — 3 different glasses for €23 — and a local wine tasting package — 3 different glasses for €24. We also share our honest review of the champagne, wine and our 3-course dinner.
After dinner, we look around the hotel shop, where Diana bought a silver necklace and pearl bracelet for €20 each. Later, we go for an evening walk around the hotel grounds and show the peaceful evening atmosphere.
In the morning, we have coffee in the hotel lounge before driving out to our next destination on the way to Spain.
