A week or so ago, I posted here a 3am freak out over the state of my tiny, 4×4 entry with 10000 foot ceilings and no light.
Someone here said it looked like a mudroom (first photo). Exactly. Except it's the first thing anyone sees.
I pulled EVERYTHING out and repurposed or donated: bulky coats on an old peg hanger, visually heavy handmade camp bench, shoes, random items.
Once clear, I carefully refilled it.
I found this table on Etsy that is both slim and visually light.
Everything else I shopped from my home: the painting by a friend's mother, the stained glass, the pewter tray, the crystals. The plant is a placeholder for one thats less spiky (and needs a push from the edge).
I spent less than $200.
Thoughts? Better?
