Nah. I would keep it minimalist. I don’t think you need any kind of window treatment. You have a great view, windows and light. Make that what you work around. Get low-profile furniture and ditch the ugly chairs. Put a few plants around, get a rug to bring the room together.

I would do some kind of Roman shade, maybe something modern and structured. I see all those houses out the window and I don’t like living in a fish bowl. They’d be open most of the day but shut at night or when the sun is beaming in at an unfortunate angle.
