Welcome back to my series where I spend my perfect day in each arrondissement of Paris!
As part of my series, today, I explore the 1st arrondissement of Paris, one of the oldest and most historic areas in the city. As someone who lives in Paris, I love sharing the places that feel special to me — quiet corners, beautiful architecture, and spots that fit my vintage Paris aesthetic.
My perfect day in the 1st arrondissement begins at Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris wherr you can find find Place Dauphine, before visiting the beautiful Église Saint-Eustache near Les Halles. I stop at the legendary French cookware shop E. Dehillerin, a historic kitchen supply store loved by chefs and pastry makers.
For lunch I go to Comptoir de la Gastronomie, a classic Paris restaurant known for traditional French food. Afterwards I wander through the elegant covered passage Galerie Véro-Dodat, one of Paris’ hidden passages, before spending time in the peaceful Jardin du Palais Royal and then Annie Bouquet, the loveliest shop in Paris for needlework!
I finish the day at Willi’s Wine Bar, a historic Paris wine bar perfect for ending a day in the city.
If you’re looking for things to do in Paris, hidden places in Paris, or a local Paris travel guide, this series will explore every arrondissement one by one.

Love your videos!!!
Love the way they dress you for the video
Totally loved the video! When I was a girl, maaaaany moons ago, my dad went to Rome, he brought me a beautiful cameo. You remind me so much of that cameo! You really could have been a model! My daughter and her family are happy you’re a pastry chef who posts do-able recipes for me….to make for them! Thanks for sharing your life and loves with us! I live in Michigan, and things are very tense here, your videos are an escape, just as the baking is.
So lovely and relaxing 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Your outfit- white pants so perfect- glad u r recognized by a nice sponsor
Normally I don’t like sponsored breaks in videos but you look so very pretty it is a pleasure to watch❤
You’re so beautiful❤love your vlogs! Thank you 😊
Living my dream….
Loved the tour!
Love your videos. They are incredibly lovely but I must declare that all of history is a lie to deceive our human population. A level2benevolent civilization created heaven on earth in our recent past.
They had wings and built their golden statues atop of their magnificently perfect buildings around the 🌎
to remind us
of them. When they were done, they left. It was a very proud military civilization meant to defend itself from other worldly invaders with advanced technology. They never warred against each other as they lived in harmony. Sadly, soon after the original engineers left, a malevolent level2civilization came along and destroyed most everything including the beautiful people that once populated the old world who were no match for the invaders and then before they too left, they put evil people in charge.
Now we live in the ruins of our recent past. Check out the The Kardashev Scale,
Six types of civilizations. The evidence is all around us. Much of what the past civilization created is still found world wide in scale, and in perfection with similar architectural layouts. Watch The Grey on the YouTube channel The Blue Videos by Marcia Ramalho. She puts all other researchers to shame.
Such a lovely video. Overall perspective is so different coming from someone who is local. Your necklace has caught my eyes. Could you tell us more about it, please? Thanks.
Oh sweet show. Thanks. The Saint Germaine l’Auxerrois church please. So remember being in gentle deep peace there meditating. Thankful to you dear souls for this show. The menagerie zoo is wonderful too.
❤
Bon Jour Ainsley,

Wonderful post. I will be in Paris this September for the third time. Can’t wait. Always something new to discover. Thanks for your post💕
Bonjour.
Je suis très admirative.
Vos recettes sont divines.
Vous avez un talent de fou.
Cordialement Christelle 🌼
Hi, I like your videos, but you shouldn't eat foie gras. You probably know how geese are fed to obtain this dish. It's not ethical.

Beautiful video ❤
Foie-gras. I hope you’re aware of how it is still prodused – pure animal cruelty.
Love the video Foie gras is a disgrace to the animal world. The french have plenty of food options, they dont need to torture animals.
Thank you for these videos!! they're so beautiful and informational.. I dare say it's a perfect video
Just a wonderful little tour of Paris! Thank You!🙂💖⚔
🤲🌹🌿💖💖💖
Ainsley do you have a recipe for French fancies? Maybe it is British because they sell it in Great Britain?
