Bienvenue to a new episode of Léo’s French Corner! 🇫🇷

Have you ever panicked when asked to introduce yourself at a French party, ending up sounding like a robot reading a passport? In this episode, Léo and Sophie tackle the art of the French conversation. Stop giving your CV to strangers and learn how to introduce yourself with elegance, passion, and true Parisian charm!

In this episode, you will learn:

✅ Why reciting dry facts makes you sound like you are in an interrogation. French people don’t want your CV; they want to know your personality.

✅ The magic phrase to use if you are retired: “J’en profite pour…”. This phrase shows you are passionate instead of just giving a cold fact.

✅ Why using the verb “aimer” for hobbies is too basic. Discover how to use the much more poetic phrase to sound sophisticated.

✅ The trick to answering “Where are you from?” by saying “Je viens des États-Unis, de la région de…”

✅ Treating conversation like a tennis match. Learn to gracefully return the ball using “Et de votre côté ?” instead of a basic “Et vous ?”.

Merci !
