Wow! Thank you very much! I drink close to two pots of coffee a day. At home, I use a French press. At work, I drink out of a huge commercial coffee make. I drink plan black, very high cholesterol, already had a double bypass, who knew.
Well youre whole brain is cholesterol.so dont just ditch coffe because cholesterol is so called bad.you need cholesterol to support brain function.reduce cholesterol then brain crimps and dementia etc comes in
When the particles are big and fluffy LDL cholesterol is not bad at all. The bad part of LDL are the damaged particles, those could get under the interlinings of the veins. Without knowing the levels/numbers saying LDL is bad is utter nonsense.
French press into a pour over and make filtered coffee in advance. Unfortunately all the coffee machines are plastic so you need to use ceramic pour over. From there you can scrape off any fat as it floats to the surface
Imagine if high cholesterol especially LDL was the great healer! How could we have gotten this so wrong? Imagine if saturated fat was the elixir of life? Imagine if more than 75% of cholesterol is always made by the liver because you need it for every cell construction and function and every hormones production. Imagine if there were no people.
I switched from my coffee maker to espresso machine, and do a French press whenever I visit my son. Looks like I’ll just have to do pour overs now with my Japanese, organic, unbleached, combustible, and oxygen washed paper filters. That’s all😑
I always realize the oils from coffee and teas made it bitter to drink. So I know you have to use the right temperature and time when brewing either, to control the oil being extracted. However I just never realized those oils could be harmful. So from that perspective, I see where paper filters will come in handy.
Normally, I would just use a piece of paper or cloth and dip it on top of the cup to extract the oils from tease.
For coffee, I would just use a little bit of salt to get rid of the bitter taste. Just never knew the oils were harmful
I never understood why people even need coffee makers, pressers, those plastic cups. Just take a spoonful of ground coffee, throw it in your mug, and hot water on it. Grounds settle at the bottom, and you can enjoy your coffee.
