  1. Love your videos – could I please ask if you could do a video on red wines which are 12.5% or under? I love red wines but stronger ones knock me out the next day.

  2. Was eyeing up the Tesco Rioja the other day but wasn't sure about it being a Tesco label, will definitely have a go next time. Went for an Antigal Malbec instead, was ok.

  3. I didn't quite understand the cork vs. screw cap comment? Surely corks are OK as they're generally used for more expensive bottles?

  4. Ribera del duero is my all time favourite region, so a little disappointed it only make the pass. Perhaps you would do a special on all things RDD.

  5. Love your vids and would be interested to compare your trained/skilled Class, Pass or Arse with Fred's opinion. Doesn't have to be filmed but it'd be an interesting potentially contrasting opinion.

  6. Have you thought about reviewing one of those online wine cases like from Virgin Wines? 12 bottles introductory offer, usually around a discounted £40. Laithwaites, Naked Wines, etc, all do them.

  7. Bought the Albariño today and a man stopped me to ask if I'd been watching Tom Gibley and we had a laugh about us walking around Tesco scrolling through a YouTube video.

  8. In Tesco grabbing the recommendations (and the Diablo Cabernet) and someone said they’d seen these recommended by a guy on YouTube. This video is getting everywhere!

  9. In Tesco grabbing the recommendations (and the Diablo Cabernet) and someone said they’d seen these recommended by a guy on YouTube. This video is getting everywhere!

  10. I bought the Verdejo today…bloody hell it’s gorgeous and club card price of less than £8! Boom! Thank you for the recommendation 👍

  11. Bought a bottle of the Rueda Verdejo (£6.50 after Clubcard discount) and the Alberino today, purely off the back of this video (the Rioja was out of stock at my local) – not going to knock them both back tonight but will certainly be cracking one of them open! Cheers, Tom

  12. Hi Tom, I've started getting more into wine. I like reds well enough, but I really go for whites, i like the stone fruit ones not the grassy ones. I've managed to get my girlfriend off of the savvy b and onto the chenin and chardonnay (our favourites, chenin the best). It's my understanding there's a fairly big division in white wines between fruity and grassy – can you do an explainer video on that? Cheers!

  13. Corr that Verdejo is currently £6.75 on clubcard pricing, might just have to pick up a bottle on my lunch break!

  14. Question: Tom , are you related to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall lol 😂
Just subscribed , great channel 👍

  15. I have drank a few of that Douro. Medium grade, I think this was bottled by Symington the biggest company in the Douro Valley but no idea were if the grapes are from their estates, maybe they came from subcontractors.

  16. Has Tom done any videos on port? Love a good port so would be interested in a pros opinion.
Also could be an entertaining watch with lots of 20% drink going down the hatch

  17. It’s a funny old thing! I saw your review come up on YouTube and am always up for professional recommendations (especially when it comes to wine) so I thought I’d check it out. You spoke of wines that could be drunk over a period of time, garden party, BBQ etc so I took this on board when tasting. With this in mind the word “Subjective” ran through my mind with every taste!…who says what appeals to you is of any significance to the tastes and preferences of the rest of humanity? Marmite, Coriander, some love it, some hate it. Just to leave a positive note, very entertaining all the same.

  18. You think the Black Birch wine is terrible? You should see the vineyard! That reserve though isnt from the block that the winemakers wanted to use though. The wrong block got harvested for the single vineyard parcel. Little FYI.
