Where are you? Do you have a budget? What do you like to do in the garden? And who uses it

Where does sun hit? Are you in a warm climate? Do you like gardening?

The potential is through the roof! I imagine shade sails or a metal gazebo to add seating, a couple of water features or fountains for ambiance, and tons of plants. The issue really is, what is your budget and how much maintenance do you want? I love my garden and we are currently going through a final push by adding a retaining wall and DG everywhere I don’t have plants to stop weed growth. It will be a big investment but I see my yard as another living space with its multiple seating areas and lounge areas, tons of plants in-ground and in pots that I water and maintain. If you want low maintenance, check what’s native to your area and use a drip system to minimize watering. I love watering, wandering around checking out progress, and weeding if necessary. The level of maintenance you are willing to do determines what you should do in your yard. I think it could be gorgeous, I would go big dressing it up myself but I’m a maximalist
