I just bought my first house and i have these large walls that I have no idea what to do with, and I want to keep the space feeling modern while embracing a Southwest style. However, sI want to avoid the typical bull skull or overly rustic décor often associated with this aesthetic.
I’m looking for any and all suggestions to help fill these walls without losing that Southwest vibe while keeping things fresh and contemporary. Whether it’s art, textures, or unique pieces, I’m open to anything that will make these large spaces feel both cozy and stylish.

Authentic Native American tapestry! That is what I would do or metal wall art would work too! I can even imagine a south west themed wall mural in that space!!
Paint the white walls
Go to /designmyroom, you’ll get a better response there. Most importantly go to Pinterest and type in modern southwest style or something like that. Mostly you need to start learning what you like in art. I have seen gorgeous totally not cringy large photo prints of the southwest, or horses, or landscapes etc that might straddle traditional southwest and contemporary.
