welcome to day six of rating Christmas dishes around the world and today we have India and India has lots of celebratory dishes but the most requested one was chicken biryani we marinate the chicken with a whole lot of spices and aromatics and in the meantime in some ghee and a bunch of aromatics again look at this thing we cook our thinly sliced onions until they’re soft and brown which is not a nice pairing of adjectives add our chicken cook it in all those juices for a while and in the meantime we parboil our rice in a lot of spices again I like Indians they put flavor into everything add our rice to the chickeny goodness some onions some herbs some saffron infused milk cover it with aluminum foil and cook it for a few more minutes and the result was this flavor bomb of a meal that I gotta admit was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever made this is a strong 9 out of 10 and I can’t wait for day 7 but for now
