So, What is a Family Restaurant in Japan?
Family Restaurants (ファミレス, Famiresu) are casual restaurants that cater to people of all ages, & especially to families with children. My Top Six Family Restaurants in Japan are Royal Host, Gusto, Saizeria, Denny’s, Big Boy, & Bikkuri Donki. From my experience, food quality is always good & prices are reasonable. They all feature a Grand Menu w/big pictures for easy ordering. If you visit Japan, definitely check out a Family Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
