On today’s episode of “Ken Tries Stuff” we’re back in the clearance aisle with some Cugino’s Dips. I managed to find the Tomato Salsa with Lime and the French Onion with Horseradish. I was both surprised and disappointed by these, but they weren’t bad for a clearance price.

I found out that “identity preserved” means that some ingredients are maintained separate from other ingredients. The Wikipedia article is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_preservation and the USDA factsheet is here: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/coexistence-identity-preserved-factsheet.pdf. I think this is a good thing because it means that these ingredients have been isolated from other ingredients. But neither of those links really get into the details.
